Sitting under the covered porch watching the rain come down. Breathing in that wonderful desert-rain smell and enjoying the moment with my two kiddos on my lap. I am blessed!

Favorite part of today: going to the park with Josh and Claire.

Favorite part of today was thinking about my amazing dad. To me he is everything a father should be, even his few imperfections make him more perfect. Feeling so grateful he is still here with us, not suffering, and wishing I was closer so I could enjoy him more.

My favorite part of today was when I finally got home from a frustrating shopping venture. I found a quiet house as Justin and Josh were sleeping. Claire was awake and happy as can be. I laid on the bed with her and we shared smiles and cooing. Wish the world would go away for a bit so I could just play with this little baby all day.

Today was not a very good day, but one good thing about bad days is the good moments are that much sweeter. My favorite part of today was this evening when I just needed to get away from the house for a bit. It has been windy lately but tonight was perfectly still. I strapped Claire into the Baby Bjorn and Josh hopped on his scooter. The warm evening air was just what I needed. Claire was mesmerized by the trees and Josh showed me all the scooter tricks he can do "like the big boys".

My favorite part of the day was this evening. Josh, Claire and I were all happy snuggled together on my bed reading books. Claire will kick her feet and stare at those pages like she's soaking in every word of the story. I wasn't feeling torn between which child to give my attention to, we were all enjoying each other. Some moments are so simple, but they make me so very happy. Wish I could stop time for a little bit.
